Overview

Tap Counter is designed to work without an account or online service. Your counter, goal, timer, and appearance preferences are stored locally on each device. Your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch keep independent sessions and preferences; the app does not synchronize them.

Data we collect

We do not collect personal data or workout data through the app. Tap Counter does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party data collection SDKs. Tap Counter does not access HealthKit or record workouts in Apple Health or Fitness.

Notifications

If you enable the countdown timer, Tap Counter may ask permission to send a local notification when time expires. The notification is created and scheduled on the device running the countdown. Notification permission is optional, and the app remains usable if you decline it.

Device storage and backups

App settings and the active counter session remain on each device. They may be included in device backups managed by Apple according to your own device and iCloud settings. Resetting a workout clears the active session; deleting the app removes its local data from the device.

Support communications

If you contact support by email, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. This information is used only to reply to your request. Please do not include sensitive information.

Changes

If Tap Counter's data practices change, this policy and the app's App Store privacy information will be updated before those changes take effect.
